1. The service
Won lets groups of friends each put a stake on a health goal. Members who hit the goal get their stake refunded; stakes of members who miss are donated to the group’s chosen charity. The detailed money rules are in the pot rules, which are part of these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18, live in the United States, and not be in a state where Won is unavailable. You must give accurate information, including your birth date and state.
3. Your account
You sign in with your phone number or Sign in with Apple. Keep access to your account secure; you are responsible for activity on it.
4. Payments, fees and refunds
- Payments are processed by Stripe on wewon.app.
- Won charges a flat $2.99 fee per member per pot. It is not refunded, except when a pot is cancelled or you withdraw before it starts.
- Refunds go back to the original card.
5. Health data and weigh-ins
You choose whether to connect Apple Health or Health Connect. Won uses daily summaries to decide results. See the privacy notice.
6. Fair use
Don’t falsify activity or weigh-ins, use someone else’s data, or abuse other members. Won may review, disqualify or suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Disputes
One appeal per result, within 48 hours, through Support. Won’s decision on an appeal is final.
8. Not medical advice
Won is not a medical or health-care provider. Consult a doctor before starting a fitness or weight-loss goal.
