DRAFT — LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED

This is placeholder text for testing. It is not legal advice, has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and does not yet form an agreement. No real money moves until review is complete.

Privacy notice

Last updated October 20, 2026

Won collects only what it needs to run pots fairly. We never sell your data, and health data is never used for advertising.

What we collect

  • Account: phone number (or Apple sign-in), display name, optional photo, birth date (to confirm you’re 18+), state and time zone.
  • Health summaries: with your permission, daily step totals and workout counts and lengths for days inside your pots. We don’t collect your raw health records.
  • Weigh-ins: scale photos, 3-second videos and the weight you enter, for weight pots only. They’re stored privately and seen only by Won’s review software and staff — never by other members, who see only “approved” or “pending”.
  • Payments: Stripe processes your card. We keep payment amounts and status, not your card number.
  • Waitlist: your email, and optionally your state and phone type.
  • App usage and errors: product analytics (PostHog) and crash reports (Sentry), to fix bugs and improve the app.

How we use it

To run pots, decide results, refund or donate stakes, prevent cheating, send the notifications you allow, and answer support requests.

Who sees it

Members of a pot you join see your display name and photo, whether you’ve paid, your goal progress (for step and workout pots, your daily step and workout counts and workout minutes on pot days, and whether any were entered by hand; for weight-loss pots, the percent you’ve lost), the time zone your pot days follow, whether each weigh-in is approved, rejected or still being checked (never the photo, video or weight), the pot’s activity feed and your result. They never see your phone number or birth date. Anyone with a pot’s invite link (it’s made to be shared) can see the pot’s goal, stake and charity, and its members’ display names and photos and whether each of them has paid.

Service providers (Supabase for hosting, Stripe for payments, Anthropic for automated weigh-in checks, Resend for email, PostHog and Sentry) process data for us under contract. Crash reports are set up to leave out phone numbers, the codes in pay links and what you type into forms.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) when you’re not in a pot that has started and have no paid seat in an upcoming pot (withdraw from it first for a full refund). We delete your photo and weigh-in media and remove your name and phone number from your profile. Payment, donation and pot records are kept because the law requires them.
